Unlike the aesthetic-focused Pilates often seen on social media, Sol Space is about how you feel - inside & out. My teaching style is influenced by somatic principles, yoga, & mindfulness. We work to connect movement, breath, body & mind to help you release patterns of tension, ease discomfort & move with freedom. You'll leave feeling lighter, taller & more confident. Sol Space Pilates also embraces joy & play in movement, recognising that laughter & enjoyment are important elements for your mood & overall well-being.

Sol Space respects your starting point, whether you're easing back into movement or managing a (non-acute) injury. In mat Pilates, we layer levels of challenge, ensuring the practice meets where you’re at & mindfully moves you forward. For certain injuries or health conditions, a doctor's note may be required. Should Clinical Pilates be a more suitable fit for your specific needs, I can recommend trusted allied health professionals to support your journey.

Yes, absolutely. Back pain is incredibly common, & while most cases of low back pain don't have a clear cause, we understand it's a complex experience influenced by biological, psychological, & social factors. At Sol Space, Pilates-based exercise isn't just about 'core strength' or 'perfect alignment' (or a quick-fix stretch!) I take a holistic approach, recognising that your stress, sleep, mindset & social support all play a role in how your body feels. I offer an optimistic, supportive environment where you feel truly seen, heard & empowered to move - & feel! - better.

Many of my clients find that two dedicated sessions per week are ideal for consistent progress & achieving their desired results. However, we will collaborate to establish a frequency that suits your personal goals & schedule.

Both Mat & Reformer Pilates offer distinct experiences. Neither is inherently 'better' than the other; they simply provide different benefits. I love mat Pilates for its simplicity & portability - no bulky machine required. By incorporating small props like bands, sliders, hand weights or pilates balls, we add variety & challenge to keep you engaged & progressing with your practice. Mat Pilates is perfect for your busy life & home space.

Nothing at all. I bring all the necessary equipment (including mats). You simply need a clean, clutter-free space large enough for two fitness mats. Outdoor spaces at your home are fine, weather permitting.

While I do instruct at other studios, Sol Space Mobile Pilates is exclusively dedicated to private 1:1 sessions or intimate duos (for pre-arranged couples). This commitment ensures privacy & the highest level of personalised attention.
-
Sol Space Pilates is a premium investment in your well-being, offering expert guidance, privacy & convenience delivered directly to your home. Sessions (50 minutes) are $90 are billed at the end of each month.

We will establish a dedicated, recurring weekly schedule that works for your busy life. Should you need to reschedule a session, I kindly request at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a full session charge. I extend the same courtesy & will always endeavour to offer a suitable make-up session. Please note that consistent practice is key to progress; if more than two consecutive sessions are missed, your dedicated weekly time slot may be reallocated.
