Melt In Your Mouth Meatballs

These delightful bite-sized morsels are lovely on their own, served with roasted veggies. They’re also delish when added to a tomato-based sauce. Great for lunchboxes!

Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 4


What you need:

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

500g beef mince

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons dried oregano

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

2 teaspoons Cajun mix

Salt + pepper


What to do:

1/ Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2/ In a large bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs + dried herbs + spices.

3/ Add the beef, egg, olive oil + garlic + use your hands to knead the mixture until everything is well incorporated.

4/ Scoop out small portions of the meat mixture + roll into neat balls. 

5/ Place meatballs on a lined baking tray + cook for about 15 minutes (or possibly longer, depending on the size of your balls) until cooked through.
